Raise Money for Your Church

Ed n Joe’s Restaurant and Pizzeria loves helping non-profit organizations in our community, but it is hard to figure out how to spread out our donations to everyone.  We have come up with a fun contest for the Churches in our area that will allow us to contribute to those in the community that are loyal to us.

If you would ask your congregation to bring their weekly dated bulletin from your Church Services into Ed n Joe’s anytime starting in April and running through August, we will donate 10-15% of their bill back to the Church each month. 

That’s right, we will donate 10% whenever they dine

Any Day, Any Time!

As an added bonus, when they dine Tuesday thru Friday for Lunch until 3pm, 

We will donate 5% more -15%!

Now here is the contest:  Whichever church in the area has the most members visit us with their bulletins before the end of each month through August 31^st 2008 we will donate an additional $100 to that church!

Our donations to the Church will be sent the first week of each month, and if this program works as well as we expect, we will continue in the following months sending the donations after the completion of each month.  We are looking forward to the many donations coming your way!

Our kitchen philosophy is simple and direct: Start with the very best ingredients and approach the stove with a passion for honesty, integrity and time tested flavor combinations that work every time.We believe the extra time and care we take in preparing our food is what sets us apart and makes us unique.

     This operating philosophy applies to all we do, from baking a pizza in a stone oven to making a soup from natural stocks to the fried chicken, roast beef and the real mashed potatoes we offer on our catering menu.

The following is a short list of some of the culinary guidelines we follow:

     *     All of our tomato sauces are made with Stanislaus tomatoes...incredibly superior gourmet tomatoes,

             …vine ripened before they are canned…you can taste the California Sunshine in every bite!

     *     Our pizza sausage is still freshly ground according to the original Ed & Joe’s 1961 recipe.

     *     We never buy imported Asian calamari. We use Boston’s Towndock label...it may be expensive, but it

             is the best we have found!!!

     *     We still slow-roast top choice inside rounds for our Italian beef sandwiches, and we use the natural    

             pan broth for dipping juice.

     *     Everyday, we make our own thin crust and deep dish pizza dough from scratch.

     *     Everyday, we grate our own fresh, extra dry Mancuso mozzarella cheese.

     *     We only buy fresh chicken breasts because it tastes so much better than frozen.

     *     We custom cut our own fresh steaks and pork chops.

     *     We cut our own fresh peppers, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes for our pizzas.

    *     We cook with extra-virgin olive oil, fresh basil and fresh garlic.

     *     We make our own homemade Tiramisu, Key Lime Pie and many other sweet fare goodies

             on a dessert menu that changes weekly.

 Fast food has its place in our world, but when you are in the mood for the culinary honesty of homemade “slow” food, give us a call or come on in and spoil yourselves!!
